Time to Re-Brand! Swaziland CHIPS

CHIPS (and you were wondering what CHIPS stood for all this time?)
2008 - Children's HIV Intervention Programme Swaziland
2009 - Children & Caregivers HIV Intervention Programme Swaziland
2013 - Community HIV Intervention Programme Swaziland
2015 - Community Health Intervention Programme Swaziland

We embarked on a journey with you in 2008 that has proved tremendously successful in providing quality compassionate Christ centered HIV care to thousands in isolated and impoverished areas in rural Swaziland.  The end goal has always been to move away from being simply an HIV program to one that can benefit everyone in the communities that CHIPS' serves.  That goal is in sight!

We have just learned we are a sub-grantee to URC for providing HIV and other health services with our in-community delivery model!  (That deserves a thank you Jesus!)  The "other" health services are what we have been aiming towards since the inception of CHIPS.

URC's funding may take 3-9 months to begin.  In the interim, it is important that we continue working in the communities so we do not lose the hard earned trust of the people there.

With a trimmed down staff, CHIPS monthly budget is $5000.  Your support now can ensure that several thousand people can continue to receive care and support for HIV and TB.

CHIPS Community Clinic
Even more important now is moving forward with the purchase and then refurbishment of the CHIPS clinic.  Cheri McDaniel in Baton Rouge has been a tremendous encouragement to us over the years and has supported our vision of a clinic and business development center here in Swaziland.

Cheri has recently published a memoir which we would highly recommend: she is a special lady!  A portion of the proceeds go towards the property earmarked for the clinic and community development center.  Please visit  www.helaysthestones.com and order a copy to support this aspect of our ministry plans!

“He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God”
